The Metro Mayors Caucus selects issues to focus on each year at the annual retreat. Many issues remain on the priority list year after year, Among the top priorities for the Caucus for the last several years have been Water, Housing, Transportation and FasTracks, Economic Development, and Energy Efficiency.

Summer Food: the Metro Mayors Caucus and Hunger Free Colorado have partnered to help raise awareness of the Summer Food Service Program which provides free meals to hungry children age 18 and under in communities nationwide. Read more about

Legislative Activities & Issues: Additionally, since 2011 the Metro Mayors Caucus and Metro Area County Commissioners have worked to collaboratively identify Joint Legislative Principals and Priorities for the following year which are shared with our metro area Senators and Representatives of the Colorado General Assembly. The
